I am often alone in our big woods looking for the next great shot. I lose track of the time and am not afraid until the light fades. Then I wonder, am I really alone? What was that noise? Why is my peripheral vision playing tricks on me? I hope my bear spray works on whatever crosses my path. The back story on this photo was a prank on my brother in law, when he came to visit our cabin. We cut a silhouette out of an 8 foot piece of plywood, painted it and put it in the marsh. It was worth it.
