    "Sometimes, when I see my relfection, I wonder who that old person is. I still don't think of myself as old." My daughter's great grandma surprised me by letting me photograph her, but surprised me more when she opened up about ageing. A strong and independant woman still living alone on the family farm, I think the imperfections she dislikes are what make this image so beautiful. My own imperfections are real too; scratches on the film I struggled to get on the reel, adding an ethereal quality.
