What a joy it has been exploring the world’s communities through your images! As you look through the final images I selected, you’ll see that they all forced me to look at them, to study them, to want to know more about them. The best images used the entire frame to communicate a message. Everything was there for a reason. Whether black-and-white or color, wide or long lens, portrait or found moment, these photographs told me something about community and made me feel some kind of emotion.

If you take the time to listen to them and find out about their lives, your images will have deeper meaning, and your viewers will be more invested and connected to your photography.
